Companies that contribute to open source projects face a challenge measuring their success. One common pitfall is focusing on counting lines of code, which can be deceiving. In this presentation Ranny will share some insights from years of involvement in open source contributions. Ranny will review additional metrics that should be looked at and will propose both quantitative and qualitative KPIs for measuring success.
