AT&T as a Carrier has its corporate priorities set to serve consumers & enterprise through Open Source project participation in Linux-foundation and OpenStack. VMware as a Software Stack provider for Cloud Applications and Systems strives to extend it's market to edge and IIOT. Dell as a Infrastructure provider has to balance its act of supporting VMware & OpenStack RHOSP for x86-64 architecture by supporting Infrastructure drivers through OpenStack & VMware for compute, network and storage. Intel with its drive to support End to End performance for NFV, Edge & 5G has been working with almost every Open and Standard communities to enable their next generation CPU's, Network SmartNICs, FPGA and GPU's besides their commercial interest. The panelist from Intel, Dell, VMWare & AT&T will debate on their corporate interest versus community responsibility as how to steer through the trade-offs
